Biography:

Kelly received her B.A. in general business from Idaho State University in 2016. She attended law school at the University of Idaho College of Law and graduated in 2019. During law school, she was on the dean’s list, received a CALI award of excellence in Agricultural Law, and was the Senior Bluebook Managing Editor of the Idaho Critical Legal Studies Journal. She is currently admitted to practice in Idaho.

Kelly was inspired to attend law school after she took an introductory course at Idaho State University about business law taught by Judge N. Randy Smith, a Senior United States Circuit Judge for the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Kelly’s goal as an attorney is to ensure that businesses and individuals are represented in all sectors of the law, from business formation and development, contracts, regulatory and administrative issues, to estate planning, property and real estate law, and litigation.

Kelly is a passionate advocate for agriculture and co-founded the University of Idaho College of Law’s first Agricultural Law Society. She also established the Idaho State Bar’s first Agricultural Law Practice Section, of which she is the current chairperson.

Kelly is a proud Idaho native with strong roots in agriculture. Her background in agriculture includes raising and training horses, cattle, and farming. She met her now fiancé in 2011, and since then, they have owned and operated varying amounts of farm ground acreage and cattle while she pursued her education. She believes that her background in agriculture will make her a better attorney and advocate throughout her legal career.

In Kelly’s free time, she enjoys spending time at the ranch, reading, and backpacking in the Idaho wilderness.

Kelly is an attorney at Jones Williams Fuhrman & Gourley, P.A.
